Adam's 2 Year Pictures

We went to JC Penny's for Adam's 2 year pictures. When I called, they said they were doing a Harley Davidson motorcycle special. I was so excited since Adam just loves his "mo-mo-cycles!" Here are some of his pics...

This one just cracks me up. He looks like a a little man who just knows exactly what he is doing! Is he ready to hit the road or what?

Yeah! We got a smile:)

My sister, Erin, took these pictures of Adam in his BYU attire. Adam knows that every Saturday is BYU Football and he looks forward to being able to wear his jersey. Throughout the week he always says, "Watch BYU Football on Saturday!"

Tackle, anybody?

Fabulous Fall

BATTLE CREEK FALLS
Pleasant Grove, UT
September 2009

I absolutely LOVE the Fall, especially here in Utah. We attempted to drive through the Alpine Loop in September when it was peak season for the leaves, but when we arrived at the base of the canyon, cars were backed up outside the park! I was so sad, but then we found this waterfall in Pleasant Grove that was really pretty and a lot less crowded. I did not make it up to the waterfall, being 8+ months pregnant, but we had a great time nonetheless.

SWINGING BRIDGE CREEK
American Fork Canyon
October 2009

We were so grateful to have Nauni come out to help with the baby. She wasn't planning on coming out until Oct. 29th, but since Brandon came early, she rushed on out and was a HUGE help!! She had the great idea of going up the canyon to see if there were any leaves left. I thought for sure we had missed them, but boy was I wrong. They were absolutely exquisite in every way. It felt so good to get out and enjoy the fresh air. It was the most peaceful and calm place as well. I was so happy to be able to get out and enjoy this beautiful world.

Big Brother

Adam is the proud big brother of "Baby Brandon." He is so sweet with him and has really picked up on some "Mommy" skills. He is always trying to help by getting Brandon's pacifier when he cries or getting Mommy's boppy when it is time to feed, or by being quiet when Brandon is sleeping. Adam asks to hold Baby Brandon and give him kisses. He also puts blankets on Brandon when he thinks he is cold and often tries to open Brandon's eyes for him. The other day, I said, "Brandon is opening his eyes!" Adam ran upstairs and grabbed the camera because he knew I wanted pictures with Brandon's eyes open. Adam is so perceptive and is a GREAT BIG BROTHER!!!

Look at that size difference! Who knew they could grow up so fast!!

Daddy does this, so Adam can't quite figure out why Brandon doesn't quite like it yet:)

I don't even think Adam knew what a pacifier was when he was little, but he sure has picked up the concept now that "Baby Brandon" is around:)

I sure love my two boys!!

Brandon Russell Warren

ANNOUNCING...

BRANDON RUSSELL WARREN
Tues. October 13, 2009
8:19 am
6 lbs. 12 oz. 19 in.
American Fork Hospital

Brandon is here! He came 11 days early, but is healthy and just beautiful. My water broke at 1:00am, we checked into the hospital at 2:30am, I got my antibiotics in, then got an epidural at 4:30am, and then just waited for my second dose of antibiotics and for the midwife to come in while little Brandon was down and ready to come out. He was ready around 7:30am, but we waited a little while and then with less than 10 minutes of pushing, at 8:19am, he was here!! It really was just an amazing delivery and neat experience. We are so, so grateful to have such a healthy and beautiful boy!

Brandon just wanted to say "Hi!"

Getting ready to come home

Home at last
Adam was not able to come to the hospital to visit, due to new strict flu regulations. We were really sad about that, but they quickly got acquainted once we got home. Adam actually cried when he first saw Brandon and showed little interest, but he got over that pretty quick!
We feel so blessed to have had everything go so smoothly. It is crazy to compare what Adam's first week of life was like compared to Brandon's. We are just very grateful that he is here and healthy!!

"Mo-Mo-Cycle Cake!"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADAM!

Adam's Cake! David was the master designer of this cake. He did such a great job!

We did a motorcycle party this year for Adam's birthday and he loved it! Anytime you ask him about his birthday, he will say, "mo-mo-cycle cake!"

We got Adam a big boy bed for his birthday. It is actually a bunk bed, but right now we have them separated. Adam got to help pick out the bed and his sheets. We thought this would help ease the transition and help him be excited for the change. As always, I think the changes are always a little harder on Mom than on him!!

This a picture of the bunk beds put together from KSL. That is where we bought them from. I think we got a great deal!!

Adam also got a scooter and a helmet for his birthday. He absolutely loves it and asks to ride everyday at the park. (Yes, Mom, he does where the helmet:)

He's a Pro!

These birthdays just make you reflect on how much he really has grown. Adam is such a sweet and loving boy. He is very active and always keeps you on your toes! I am so grateful for the wonderful addition he is to our family.
